Return Policy

The USS Caperton sets the price of books on theĀ  website only to recover the full cost of publishing and shipping each title. There is really little to no profit generated from these titles. Any profit that is generated is used to build up the inventory and add titles. As such there is no revenue to absorb the incidental costs associated with returns. However if you are not satisfied with a title you have purchased from the USS Caperton, and the book is in unread condition, you may return it for a refund of the price of the book after shipping and PayPal fees have been deducted.

If you receive the wrong title please contact us via email at store@capertonsociety.org immediately for resolution.
We do check each book carefully prior to shipment but if you receive a defective copy please contact us via email at store@capertonsociety.org immediately for resolution.
When you place an order we contact you via email on the day the order is shipped. If you do not receive this email within 5 business days please email us at store@capertonsociety.org so that we can look into what happened. Once you receive the order shipment confirmation email, if you have not received your order within 5 days please contact us so that we can trace your order.
All requests for returns/refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt.
